The Type 460 can be supplied in custom lengths and is available with threaded or flanged connections. Whenever the distance between the valve centres exceeds 1500 mm, the pipe is divided into several sections, which are securely connected by reinforcing spacers.
Sealing is ensured by a PTFE seal integrated into the valves. In the event of contamination or a fault, the indicator can be safely disconnected from the tank and drained via the integrated shut-off valves.
Due to the fragility of the glass tube, the Type 460 is supplied unassembled. During assembly, particularly for flanged versions, it is essential to ensure that the connections are precisely aligned and free from twisting, in order to avoid stress on the glass tube.
For additional protection against mechanical impacts during operation, a Plexiglas® protective tube is available as an optional extra.
