The 327 screw-type sight glass consists of a welding end similar to DIN 11851 or EN 10357, forming a resilient and leak-tight connection with the rest of the system. On the product side, the borosilicate glass, which complies with the DIN 7080 standard, is sealed by a gasket made of NBR, FKM (Viton) or PTFE. Specially shaped for milk pipe screw connections. A slotted nut provides the necessary support.

If the maximum operating temperature of 280°C does not meet your requirements, or if the process conditions pose a problem even for the highly resistant borosilicate glass, a mica or FEP protective screen specially adapted for the connection offers additional protection against steam and aggressive chemicals, such as alkalis up to a pH value of 14.

Like other circular sight glasses, the 327 model can be equipped with SWI-type wipers and lights upon request.
