Circular sight glass type 390V – PN 16 – Vacuum

With weld-on ends in accordance with DIN EN 1092-1, type 11

The Type 390V circular sight glass has been developed for vacuum applications, covering a pressure range from -0.9 barg to 16 barg.

The 390V sight glass is welded to a pipe socket or directly onto the wall of a tank or vessel, allowing the interior of the equipment to be viewed or illuminated.
The sight glass, made of borosilicate glass with high chemical resistance in accordance with DIN 7080, is securely fixed between two high-quality stainless steel flanges and highly reliable gaskets.

The 390V type circular sights are made of high-quality 1.4571 (316Ti) stainless steel, a material trusted by our customers. The glass used is industry-standard borosilicate glass, in accordance with DIN 7080 (or to customer specifications).

The assembly is sealed using D-ring or O-ring seals, selected according to the process requirements, made from materials such as PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, silicone, EPDM or FKM.

For greater protection against aggressive chemicals or caustic solutions, borosilicate glass can be coated with FEP or Halar®.

Like other circular product sight glasses, the 390V sight glass can be fitted with LED lighting on request.
