Break-Away Valves are used to prevent pull-away accidents, protect the terminal and loading/unloading equipment, and eliminate unwanted product release. Break-Away Valves have a predefined break point that will separate under a specified load; at that moment, the internal valves automatically close on both sides. This action will minimise downtime and save money, equipment, and the environment.
