The Type 550A flow sight glass is designed for flange-to-flange mounting in accordance with ASME B 16.5 and enables the visual monitoring of fluids in pipes under working pressure; it is manufactured in accordance with DIN 11869 (formerly DIN 3237).
The design, strength calculations and construction comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and the AD 2000 regulations.
