How it works:
The back pressure check valve allows gas to flow freely in one direction while blocking backflow in the opposite direction. When gas attempts to flow back through the system, a disc or piston inside the valve closes automatically due to back pressure, preventing reverse flow. This mechanism is activated by the pressure differential between the two ends of the valve.
