The 334 sight has a lightweight design and offers a significantly larger viewing window compared to the rectangular 330 sight, but with a relatively low working pressure of up to 3 bar.
The 334 sight is made of high-quality 1.4571 (316Ti) stainless steel, which is highly valued by our customers. On request, the model is also available in many other materials, tailored to specific requirements and particular applications.
The equipment is sealed using flat gaskets tailored to your requirements. We supply C-4400 fibre, PTFE, NBR and graphite gaskets, amongst others, as standard.
For dark liquids or unlit tanks, the use of a reflective sight glass in accordance with DIN 7081 or similar is recommended. Due to the refraction of light in the built-in prisms, the liquid level can be more easily identified. However, if the tank is lit or if the colour of the product is visible, a transparent sight glass should be used. Reflective glass must not be covered with mica discs, as this prevents reflection.
If the maximum operating temperature of DIN 7081 borosilicate glass does not meet your requirements, or if the process conditions pose a problem even for this highly resistant glass, a specially adapted mica protective disc offers additional protection against temperature and steam. FEP or Halar® coatings provide additional protection for the borosilicate glass against aggressive chemicals.
