The RegO RS Series External Pressure Relief Valve was developed to act as an automatic pressure relief device in industrial and commercial systems operating with pressurized fluids.
It is part of the RegO RS Series, renowned for its durability and precision in demanding environments, ensuring continuous protection against failures and explosion risks.
Installed externally, the valve releases excess pressure when the preset limit is reached, restoring balance to the system.
Features
| Ref. | Pressure Opening | Connection | Dimension | Air Flow Capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RS3131 | 14 bar | 3/4″ M.NPSM | 85 mm | 58.3 |
| RS3132 | 17.2 bar | 1″ M.NPSM | 129 mm | 116.9 |
| RS3145 | 17.2 bar | M45x2 Metric M | 139 mm | 182.7 |
Note: Airflow capacity is measured at 120% of set pressure (m³/min) ASME
How it works:
Operation is based on a calibrated spring mechanism.
When internal pressure exceeds the safety limit, the pressure force overcomes the spring resistance, opening the valve and releasing the pressurized fluid.
Once the pressure returns to a safe level, the spring closes the valve again, re-establishing the seal.
This process prevents excessive pressure buildup and protects equipment from damage.
Advantages:
- Automatic protection: The valve opens and closes automatically, ensuring system safety without the need for manual intervention.
- High reliability: RegO valves are known for their high resistance and long service life, even in harsh industrial environments.
- Wide pressure range: The RS series offers valves adjusted for different pressure ranges, adapting to various protection needs.
- Compliance with safety standards: RegO valves are designed to comply with international safety standards, ensuring that systems operate according to industrial regulations.
The RegO RS Series External Pressure Relief Valve is a vital component for any pressurized system requiring reliable overpressure protection, being widely used in sectors such as gas, oil, chemicals, and refrigeration.
