This pressure relief valve is an internally mounted device; the RegO 7583 model is specifically designed to open and relieve excess pressure, restoring pressure to safe levels. It is widely used in storage and transport systems for liquefied and pressurised gases.
Features
| Ref. | Pressure Opening | Connection | Dimension | Air Flow Capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7583 | 14 bar | 3/4″ M.NPT | 208 mm | 15,551 |
| 7583G | 17.2 bar | 3/4″ M.NPT | 208 mm |
How the RegO 7583 Valve works:
The internal pressure relief valve operates via a calibrated spring mechanism. When system pressure exceeds 17.2 bar, the pressure force overcomes the spring resistance, causing the valve to open and release the pressurised fluid (usually gas) to the atmosphere or to a safe area. Once the pressure drops below this limit, the valve closes automatically, restoring normal system operation.
Advantages:
- Overpressure protection: Ensures the system does not exceed the preset pressure, preventing equipment damage and ensuring operator safety.
- Automatic shut-off: The valve closes automatically after relieving pressure, restoring normal operating conditions without manual intervention.
- High durability: Built with materials resistant to corrosion and high pressures, this valve offers long service life and reliability.
- Reliable safety: Ideal for systems that require protection against pressure fluctuations, reducing the risk of system failures.
A vital component in systems operating with pressurised gas, providing automatic overpressure protection, ensuring system and operator safety, and extending the service life of the equipment involved.
