Filters (FD and FS Series)

Filters help protect meters from serious damage caused by loose burrs from new pipework, pipe scale or foreign matter. The initial cost of the filter is a sound investment compared to the cost of downtime and replacement parts resulting from a damaged meter.

A filter installed on the inlet side of the meter is required even when the pipework includes a filter on the upstream side of the pump. FD and FS-Series filters should not be used as system filters, but solely to protect the meter itself.
Filter meshes are available in 20, 40, 80, 100 or 200 mesh.

– FD Series: 10 bar (145 PSI)
– FS Series: 10 bar (145 PSI)
– FSAA Series: 19 bar (275 PSI)
– FSA Series: 21 bar (300 PSI)

Flange size:
– 4‘, 6’ and 8″ in steel.

Standard straight-through flow. Optional angled inlet/outlet configurations.

When the air eliminator is used, the cover is replaced by the air eliminator cover assembly.
