The valve operates by means of a calibrated spring that keeps the shutter closed during normal system operation. When the internal pressure exceeds 17.65 bar, the force exerted by the fluid overcomes the resistance of the spring, causing the valve to open and relieve the pressure. Once a safe pressure has been restored, the valve closes automatically without the need for external intervention.
